The OctOPUS blog – from OPUSalbums.com Autumn Colours
By Daniel Roberts, Director, www.OPUSalbums.com Last Saturday (3rd November) was a glorious day for colours. Despite winds this weekend looks good too. You don’t have to go to New England. In the South East, Sheffield Park – near Haywards Heath in Sussex is gorgeous. We were not the only people there. At a photographic event this week I was showing some of our albums – and met David. He said “Wow – I was at the very same place – at the very same time – and have the very same photo”. The record is worth keeping – and showing at its best. That’s why I have a Print&Bind album for the whole day – and a few pages in my PhotoArt 2007 Highlights album. Some Photography Tips
1. Use a Polarising Filter- accentuates colour, reduces haze
2. Shoot just before sunset - accentuates the reds and golds. 3. Don’t ignore the Overcast Days - images can be rich, and the atmosphere more realistic 4. Look for Contrasts - take adviantage of framing opportunities Here are the results:
I didn’t do a Photo Accordion – but here is the one from Crater Lake, Oregon in August,
