Christmas is a happy time - happy because it brings family
and friends together, happy because it is a festive time, happy because it is a
time of giving. Happy because we can
remember the coming of Jesus who gave Himself for us.
We would like to give every one of our customers their own
printed card - printed of course on our own paper. But there are too many! So we are sending to

We use Olmec/Innova Smooth White Cotton (OLM-66/IFA-15) and
feature pictures from our recent trip to Australia
and New Zealand. The results are quite stunning. Of course we have used DG Foto Art to lay out
the card. The cards were printed with an
Epson Stylus R2880 and I must say that in my opinion the results were better
with Epson's UltraSmooth Fine Art Paper setting than with Innova's ICC
download! We went equipped with a new
Sony Alpha 700 and though we had set of Konica Minolta lenses, our new 18-250
f3.5 Sony lens made everything else pretty well redundant, especially as in
poor light we had not too much graininess at ISO6400.
With 6500 pictures (2000 rated ****) I've made five
different albums and using DGFA an animated slide show too. And once you get going it didn't take too
much time.
But enough of that - 2010 is before us, and we trust it
brings you and your family happiness, health, prosperity and cheer. The world might be in a mess: that might be a
good thing as it might help us to re-establish priorities - as much in business
as in our private lives. Things are
tough for photographers especially with so many amateurs-turning-pro - keeping
an edge on others becomes more vitally important. We wish you every success and if there is

On our family side the biggest event (if she is spared till
June and she is in good shape at present) will be my mother's 100th
birthday. She will want the works from
the Queen's telegram to the party!
