Double Sided Photo Paper - from Olmec, Innova, Tetenal & Hahnemühle

But at OPUSalbums.com we have a good range of double sided papers.  These are generally in the standard sizes of A3 and A4.  Two Hahnemuhle papers are available in A3 Plus and A2.   Witho our ‘Photo Paper How YOU want it’ service you can have the paper in 62 different sizes – US sizes, B sizes, traditional photo sites (5x7, 8x10 etc), panoramic sizes, camera aspect ratio sizes, square and greeting card sizes.

Can you Print on the Back of Single Sided Paper?

This is a question often ansked.  Unless otherwise stated the revers side is uncoated.  But it is good quality paper and prodcues good results sepecially in text.  Do not use it for faithful photographic reporduction, though.

Some papers cannot be pinted on the reverse.  This is vgenerally the ase with resin coated papers suchas the Olmec satin or gloss 240/260 gsm papers. 

Album and Photo Book Sheets

 Papers may also be scored for insertion into albums and photo books.  OIf you are using the Pics Book System based on Unibind thermal binding you will not want any punching.  However if you are using the OPUSalbums Photo Art or FlexAlbum ranges you will want 120mm punching.  Other punching is available with ‘Photo Paper How YOU want it.’

Greeting Cards and Promotional Literature

Double Sided paper is also important for cards -and documents whether as a single sheet promotion or information or as a greeting card. 

For the former you may chose just to use a s tandard A4 sheet.

Or you might be more adventurous.  For example our own current product guide is on A4 half folded along the long side.  We salo have a leaflet "Photo Paper How YOU Want it" on 5/6 A4 so there is a flap which is visible whether the card is open or closed.

The same applies to greeting cards - why not look at the gate folds that we have especially if you start from a panoramic page.

The following double sided papers are recommended for Greeting Cards

• Tetenal 280gsm Double Sided Satin

However, as most cards do not ahve quality photos on both sides it is not necessary to use a double side coated paper.  The most highly recommended paper for greeting cards is Innova or Olmec Soft White Cotton
