Why be tied to the standard paper sizes. We will create the right card for you! You select from a range of papers sources and specify the paper type, the size and the fold. We cut and fold to your specification. What Card stock? A lot depends on the type of card. Is it an art card? Is it to be something special - or is it more
run-of-the-mill. For personal cards I prefer Innova Soft White cotton. (IFA-15 or Olmec OLM-66) It has a rather special feel
which exudes warmth. Others like the
rough textured cards. One major buyer
has chosen the soft textured cards. You need a card where you get good quality text print on the
reverse. This rules out the single sided
gloss or satin resin coated Olmec
papers. But for non art papers the
230gsm Olmec Archival matte paper is good, as is the 210gsm Tetenal gloss/matte paper. Personally I would not go below
200gsm for a greeting card. What Size? Because of the constraints of normal paper purchasing most
inkjet printed cards are A5 (ie A4 folded into two). But why not be a bit different. We have researched the various cards sizes and
under our 'Paper how you want it' programme can offer many others. Here are some standard greeting card sizes (in inches) 6x6 6.5x5 8x8 10x7 9x4 8.25x4 -
or use a photo size. Of course normally these papers are folded down the middle
so the paper supplied for 6x6 is 12x6 etc.
But you can take a photo paper such as 10x8 and fold it down the long
