I usually get well into using a product before I recommend it.  This is an exception.  I'm writing this on the day I've installed it.  So of course as yet I have not had a chance to really give Web Spy a real run.  The first impressions are good.  Well I'm not surpised - with SEO Elite, Keyword Elite, Web CEO, Affiliate Elite - I'm a bit of a Brad Callen addict.

If you are losing money on AdWords and just can't understand how you competition are doing so well, I have just stumbled across this new software that has amazed me. This brand new piece of code turns traditional competitor research on it's head.

PPC Web Spy allows you to browse Google and view the AdWords keywords of any AdWords advertiser!  You can see what the leaders are using.  Basically, it's a small file (also known as an xpi file) that gets installed into your FireFox web browser. Unfortunately it does not work with Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera etc as "It was created specifically for use with the Firefox web browser, which is much more stable and faster than Internet Explorer". For those who do not already know, Firefox is a free web browser that co-exist with Internet Explorer and can be downloaded and installed in minutes, simply do a Google search for the word.

Here's how the spy works:

When you do a Google search, the software automatically places a "view keywords" button below every single AdWords advertiser.

Click the "view keywords" button and really neat popup window appears that not only shows you the keywords that any AdWords advertiser is bidding on, but it also shows you a TON of other information, like how much they're paying per click and so on. The spying feature can be turned on/off by clicking on the logo that appears at the bottom of your browser, It's awesome.

The best bit is it doesn't cost anything. I've never seen anything anywhere near this powerful, especially being free.
