Dear Photographer

 Thank you for visiting OPUSalbums.com.  I start with a personal message - because OPUSalbums.com is my business, and I am intensely interested in ensuring that we provide our friends with the very best products, services and prices. 

So, wether you are a ‘pro’, or a serious amateur like my wife and I, you can enjoy your photos far more when they are printed. 

If you do it yourself you can control the output and have immediate results.  A good inkjet printer is all you need – provided you use the right paper.

I work with Innova Art – the favoured paper manufacturer for many professional photographers - I have known their management for 20 years.  In my albums I prefer their soft textured paper for weddings and the smooth cotton (photo-rag type) high white for scenes.  It’s a question of taste.

For albums - we have two 'professional' offerings - our PhotoArt has now been joined by the OPUS PhotoBook - where we have brought together a professional binding system and the album with a wide choice of Innova Art paper to give you a really good heat sealed book.

For prints the Innova FibaPrint range is setting a new standard.  I like the ‘Ultra gloss” – but of course the matte is great – especially for monochrome work.  Just look at the shadows!  Of course you need the right ICC profiles.  They are all available. Or at the photo-glossy level we have the well proven Olmec range - including their very successful double sided photo-gloss.  

We am working hard to provide more software.   For editing we offer the ACD Photo Editor Pro – and for albums Fotoslate4.  We have also introducing top end album design products Dg Foto Art Essentia and Gold (Windows and Mac) - products beloved by wedding and celebratory event photographers.

For fun (and some good marketing uses)  – look at our Print&Bind and our creative papers such as the Photo Accordion. 

As befits a business dedicated to supporting our professional customers - we have a loyalty scheme (the OPUS Club) - with discounts up to 10%.  Also

We don't advertise of go to shows so, if you a member of a Photo or Camera club?  we can pass the savings on to members or the club – so long as they do something to help us – such as put a link on their website or promote our products at one of their meetings.  If you have your own site, we have also set up the OPUS directory to give you free advertising.  You can also make a little extra cash by becoming an OPUS affiliate.
